What’s New for 2026
10U Division Added
The Foundry Cup now includes a full 10U division, expanding opportunities for younger athletes to compete on the Foundry floor.
Updated Bracket Structure
To support competitive balance in the 12U and 14U divisions, we’re introducing a two-bracket format:
A Bracket: most club-based teams or any roster combining more than two teams
B Bracket: school and rec-town teams
This structure ensures matchups that are appropriately aligned and fast-paced across all levels.
Free Agency Opens December 15
Not every athlete has a school or rec team participating in the Foundry Cup. To make sure these players still have an opportunity to compete, we will open Free Agency teams on December 15.
Free Agency is for players without a participating school or rec team
Rosters are Iron City–managed
These are the only Iron City teams that will compete in the Foundry Cup
Registration opens the same day Early Bird rates close
Free Agency provides a pathway for athletes who want to be part of the event but do not have a team entering the tournament.
