Goalie Academy
Position-Specific Training for the Last Line of Defense
The Iron City Goalie Academy returns this fall and winter with focused, position-specific training designed to help goalies build confidence, refine their technique, and perform under pressure.
This season, Goalie Academy is available at two locations, giving families the option to train at our North location at PISA or our South location at Greentree Sports Complex.
Led by experienced Iron City goalie coaches, each session emphasizes consistent reps, detailed instruction, and real-game application in a supportive training environment.
Who It’s For
Open to boys and girls goalies in graduation years 2036 through 2027. Training groups are organized by graduation year to provide the appropriate pace and focus for each athlete.
North | Pittsburgh Indoor Sports Arena (PISA)

Session 1 | September 28–November 2
2032–2036: 6:00–7:30 PM
2027–2031: 7:30–9:00 PM
Session 2 | November 9–December 21
2032–2036: 6:00–7:30 PM

Session 3 | January 4–February 22
2032–2036: 6:00–7:30 PM
2027–2031: 7:30–9:00 PM
Goalies may register for individual North sessions or register for all three sessions and save over 20%.
South | Greentree Sports Complex
Thursdays | September 24–October 22
2032–2036: 6:00–7:30 PM
2027–2031: 7:30–9:00 PM
Goalie Academy South will initially run for one fall session. If participation is strong, additional South sessions may be added.

Goalie Academy is free for currently registered Iron City goalies.
Please contact us before registering to receive the appropriate registration code.
Iron City goalies who would like to train at both the North and South locations may do so for an additional fee. Please reach out for more information.
